Your Old QuickBooks Software Might Be Worth More Than You Think

I wanted to share something interesting (and potentially valuable) that many QuickBooks users aren’t aware of. As you may know, Intuit has fully moved QuickBooks to a subscription-only model. Because of that shift, older non-subscription versions—especially QuickBooks Pro and Premier — have become surprisingly valuable on the resale market.

In fact, boxed or even previously-installed versions of QuickBooks 2017 Pro are currently selling for $750+ on eBay. Versions like 2016, 2018, and 2019 are also selling for high amounts, and even as far back as 2012 can fetch a pretty penny (RIP pennies).
